For an influencer, I don’t shop very much. For a normal person, I shop quite a lot. But so much of what I order gets inspected, tried on and then mailed back from whence it came. So when something shows up to the house and survives the never-ending cycle of returns, I want to talk about it.
Lately, I’ve been looking for dresses that I can do both. Dresses that are comfortable enough that you don’t feel silly wearing them in your home office, but nice enough that you can also wear them to the office. This jersey shirt dress from Boden with a wide belt is such a dress.
The material is soft, comfortable and easy to wear. The style is relaxed, yet polished. The wide belt gives it some structure and life. And the color selection — black, navy, and three bold prints — is on point. I bought the black, and I like the brown dotted option enough, I may buy it in the long style and hem it.
This dress is a fantastic Friday dress. It looks chic on a Zoom call. It feels like a comfy nightgown, but doesn’t look like it. And the first time I wore it, I realized immediately how awesome it would be for work travel. It’s a winner.
Boden has so many great jersey dresses right now. I also scooped up this brightly striped knit dress, but it’s been too warm to wear it yet.
